Nature and humanity are interwoven, and both face a climate and ecological emergency. When we act now, when we act together, we can offer hope.
The Carbon Community brings together nature, science, and people to restore thriving habitats, create opportunities for environmental researchers, get people involved in citizen science, and support long-term scientific research to help forest ecosystems absorb more carbon from the atmosphere.
We are currently raising funds to support our citizen science program and to further scientific research on our carbon study. This unique long-term field trial, designed in collaboration with leading scientists, aims to understand how to help trees and soil draw down more carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. Your gift can make a real difference.
100% of your contribution will go towards our work to give nature a gift that lasts.
As we chart a course for the future, we are looking for funders with an interest in supporting the next phases of our carbon study; restoration of the meadows at Glandwr Forest; and our citizen science program.
